  • Overview Details

Hire your own floating, five-star boutique hotel for a three-, four- or seven-night private charter aboard Aqua Mekong, which can accommodate up to 40 guests.

The 62.4-m craft was designed by Ho Chi Minh City-based architects at Noor Design to emulate a sophisticated hotel based on local artistic themes. The spacious interiors use local, sustainable materials and artisanal touches representing the Mekong River’s multifaceted cultures. Spacious, yet intimate enough to feel exclusive, Aqua Mekong features refined lounging and dining areas. Modern navigation technologies and the highest cruise ship standards, plus the company’s experienced river pilot and crew of 40, ensure smooth travel and safety on the water.

You and your guests will enjoy a journey in Vietnam and Cambodia, with on- and off-shore excursions along this fascinating river that will include flooded emerald forests and bamboo stilt villages accessible only by a private skiff boat. Guests will have the chance to experience the sight of flocks of painted storks and spotbilled pelicans in their last South East Asian refuge, Chinese wing-tipped pagoda temples and remote Buddhist monasteries.

Aqua Mekong’s consulting chef David Thompson – regarded as one of the best chefs in Asia – will accompany you on board. The Australian-born chef is famed for his Thai food, and he now helms Long Chim at Marina Bay Sands. During the cruise, he will also offer guests the opportunity to participate in market tours to learn about local ingredients and his bespoke menus.
