  • Since September 2010, Bangkok’s rich culinary tradition has been drawing acolytes with the opening of nahm in a beautifully designed, contemporary space at the COMO Metropolitan Bangkok on South Sathorn Road.

Renowned for reviving authentic Thai cuisine and elevating it to fine dining standards, chef David Thompson was honored with the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016. nahm’s success propelled Thompson to new culinary heights due to his commitment in maintaining traditional Thai recipes and ingredients over his 30-year career. His contributions set the benchmark for high-end restaurants across Asia.

For lunch, nahm offers a lighter, shorter version of the dinner menu, and includes a selection of Thai salads, curries and stir-fries. Highlights include a king fish salad with pomelo, lemongrass and lime; aromatic curry of chicken with pickled cucumbers; and stir-fried cured pork with tomato and fiddlehead fern. Both à la carte and set menu are available for lunch.

For dinner, the à la carte menu varies regularly, with highlights including coconut and turmeric curry of blue swimmer crab; hot and sour soup of chicken, prawn and wild mushrooms; tamarind and chilli relish with grilled catfish and neem leaves; and for dessert, kaffir lime in perfumed syrup with candied coconut; durian and sweet sticky rice.
