The new Six Senses Shaharut, located about an hour north of Eilat, blends seamlessly with its surroundings, designed to minimize its impact on the natural environment. Inspired by the architecture of the Nabataean community, the resort features 60 suites and pool villas crafted from natural materials like stone, wood, and copper. Israeli artisans contributed to the interiors, reflecting the area’s ancient history along the Incense Route. The resort emphasizes locally sourced products, from food and beverages to bath amenities, and even its library bar’s vinyl collection focuses on desert-inspired music. As a tribute to the area’s past as a camel camp, the resort houses a stable of 12 camels for guest interactions.
