Designer Kenneth Cobonpue (kennethcobonpue.com) first became known for modern but functional furniture designs using materials from the natural world in his native city of Cebu in the Philippines. He has received awards around the globe for his pieces, which often fuse traditional handmade production techniques with innovative designs. Such is the case with his complicated and alluring Peacock chair ($2,060).
