JO MALONE’S NASHI BLOSSOM

THE SCENT OF SPRING

Nothing quite signals the dawn of spring like a gentle whiff of floral air. Every year, in celebration of the descent of winter, Jo Malone releases a new blossom fragrance. This year, the nashi (pear in Japanese) tree takes centre stage.

Simply called Nashi Blossom, the fragrance features the scents of both the nashi flower and fruit. While the flower gently hints with a rosey scent, the fruit brings out an apple-and-pear fragrance. Nashi Blossom opens with a hint of lemon before revealing its heart of a nashi and rose absolute, before trailing off to subtle notes of white musk. You may also detect traces of apples, which juice has been naturally extracted using a special cold concentration technique. The fragrance is stored in a black-and-white polka dot bottle, reminiscent of the nashi flower’s contrasting white petals and black stamen.

As with Jo Malone’s unique fragrance-combining philosophy, Nashi Blossom can be layered with others to create an entirely new and uplifting scent. Fabrice Pellegrin, master perfumer of the brand and nose behind the Nashi Blossom recommends pairing it with Nectarine Blossom & Honey for the ultimate spring in your step.
