Banyan Tree recently launched Saffron Cruise, a new riverboat cruise service aimed at discerning diners and culture aficionados with an appreciation for Thailand’s artistic heritage and the timeless splendour of the Chao Phraya River. For Valentine’s the hotel has a festive 5-course set meal planned, costing THB9,900++ per couple including a glass of champagne. The 38-metre-long vessel features a show-kitchen restaurant and bar on the open-air main deck, while the rooftop Moon Deck features a stool-sit bar and lounge plus a scenic Sky Bridge for viewing the river’s gently rippling waters and spectacular sunsets.
