New in: Chopard’s LUC Perpetual Chrono

New in: Chopard's LUC Perpetual Chrono

Naming rights

In 1996, Chopard  unveiled the calibre 1.96, the brand’s first LUC movement, named after its founder, Louis-Ulysse Chopard. This year, Chopard has released the LUC Perpetual Chrono, significant as its first in-house perpetual calendar chronograph. The timepiece is powered by the LUC 03.10-L, which is based off the chronograph-only LUC 03.07- L. This means that like the latter, it carries the Poincon de Geneve seal and is also a COSC-certified chronometer. The movement gives the timepiece a 60-hour power reserve and a moon phase display at six o’clock that is accurate to one day’s deviation every 122 years. All this technical goodness is protected within a 45mm case of 18k fairmined gold.
