The first Ritz-Carlton in Thailand

Officially launched on June 8th, 2018, the launch of Ritz-Carlton Koh Samui marks a significant milestone in the Marriott business as it is the second Ritz-Carlton to open in Thailand.
Located on the north-eastern part of the island, the Ritz-Carlton Koh Samui is located on a 58-acre land that was a former coconut plantation. Thus, the resort pays homage to its past through extensive use of coconut and other natural materials in its establishment. The luxury resort includes a total of 175 suites and pool villas accentuated by soothing color tones and lots of natural light.
Notable gastronomic experiences include Shook! Which serves innovative Asian and Western dishes complemented by fine wines and Pak Tai, an interpretation of southern Thai cuisine. For spa lovers, the Spa Village Koh Samui is known for its Songkran Shower, a signature pre-spa ritual inspired by the Songkran festival. Other fun activities at the resort includes Muay Thai, Thai cooking classes, exploring the Swim Reef, featuring over 50 species of fish, and a Ritz Kids program with a dedicated playroom.
