The system is designed to support a balanced, fully floating signal path that eliminates ground noise and enhances sonic detail from source to speakers. The GT-5000 turntable features a belt-driven, 11-pound aluminum platter fitted with a proprietary tonearm with an exceptionally rigid carbon tube (the inner tube is copper-plated aluminum).
Cabinets for the NS-5000 loudspeakers are crafted from Japanese white birch, and the proprietary tweeter, midrange and 12-inch woofer diaphragms are made from Zylon, a strong, elastic synthetic fiber that achieves impressively coherent sound from top to bottom.
