Amalgam Collection today revealed the extraordinary results of a collaboration with Commercial Still Life Photographer Mitch Payne: a series of images of 1:8 scale models exploiting the incredibly fine detail on the Amalgam models that are indistinguishable from the real cars.
One of the models captured was Amalgam’s Mercedes-AMG ONE, in which Payne showcases his artistic post-production skills. Developed using original CAD designs, paint codes and material specifications provided by Mercedes-AMG, each model in the limited edition contains 1192 handcrafted parts within the 58 centimeters (23 inches) long body.
